Crystal Gayle Shares Shares Tribute to Sister Loretta Lynn

Country music mourns the loss of Loretta Lynn, a pioneer in country music, died at the age of 90. Her family confirmed the news with a message to her fans:

"Our precious mom, Loretta Lynn, passed away peacefully this morning, October 4th, in her sleep at home at her beloved ranch in Hurricane Mills."

Loretta was famously born as a coal miner's daughter in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky.

She had seven siblings: Melvin, Herman, Willie "Jay" Lee, Donald, Peggy Sue, Betty, and Crystal Gayle. She was the second oldest, and 71-year-old Crystal was the youngest. Both Crystal and Peggy Sue had careers in the music industry.

Crystal shared a series of family photos and wrote, "The world lost a legend. We lost a sister. Love you Loretta❤️." Fans flooded her with condolences, prayers, and messages of support. GH
